Hi,
I'm new here. I'm slowly building a 67 Chevelle. The engine and trans will not be matching. I bought a 1975 Chevy 350 4bolt LS9 block and a 4 speed Munice. Now the engine I am putting a forged stroker crank with KB pistons and I beam rods. I am doing Vortex heads.
I just bought some Comp Cam Roller Lifters (818-16) and I need to find a strong (rough idle) cam that will work with this set up.
I have talked to Comp cam and one tech said yes it will work and another said they will fit but not work. I need advice on to what kinda cam you would recommend that will work with the lifters, or if I should return the lifters and get different ones. Looking to push 400+ hps.
Thanks,
Chris
