chevy cobalt or honda civic?

Civic, it is more reliable and Consumer Reports and Edmunds.com liked it a lot better than many cars of its class including the Cobalt.

For all of you who said Cobalt, how much value do you think it will have lost in 5 years? The Honda will be within $1500 of MRSP.

I'd get a cobalt. I belive it's a best kept secret in the market. It has more standard horsepower and gets 25/37MPG for the xfe model. I currently have a 2010 cobalt coupe xfe. All I know is I can outrun my friends 2008 civic with no problem. Mine has small upgrades such USB input and floor mats.
But obviously it's your choice.
Good luck.

GET THE CIVIC... that\e chev would just be in the shop constantly now i hate the Japanese but they build good engines.

honda civic - simple answer but its what i think

it depends on your personality.. cars are more like boys.. woo !!!

for me.. civic

If you're going to sell it in a year or two, buy the Honda, as the book value will be higher due to ignorant popularity.
If you're going keep it, buy the Cobalt, as you'll have a lot more money from not being raped by the Honda service department.
Side note: Honda seats are hard as a church bench. It's like driving a kitchen chair. The Cobalt has thick dense foam that will start getting comfy after about two thousand miles.
