Would a 1992 Corvette with 122k miles be a reliable car for school?

It's automatic, with a new fuel pump, radiator, and tires within the last 4 months. It started up right away and drove really smooth. I'm just worried of it having lots of problems. I'd be driving less than 10 miles a day and wouldn't be hot rodding in it.

Corvettes are a car most young people want. They look cool and drive well, as long as they are driving. But I tell you what, they are expensive to fix! You will need lots of money to keep it going, it's kind of rediculous. The parts are generally "corvette only", meaning they only fit corvettes and not other GM models, making them very spendy. They are so fun to drive, it's hard to resist. Just save up some money, you will need it.

its going to be like anything it depends on how the previous owner(s) took care of it if the ppl who owned it before you or whenever beat the crap out of it stay away from it. But if you can pay cash for it not have the payment and save money for repairs when it comes up its going to be a great car and a total chick magnent. but be ready to fix little things here and there its going to need some help if it has a new fuel pump and radiator and tires thats a good start be ready for spark plugs oil changes and air filter there may also be other small problems but it sounds like its a good car and for 10 miles a day you cant go wrong.
I personally if i had the cash i wouldnt have even thought about it i would have handed him the cash and drove home but if you have to take a loan get something a little newer.
personal oppinion
