ok i have an 85 corvette with a clogged catalytic converertor and i am thinking about punching the cat on it will this mess up my ecm or any other components on my car? ps i dont have money to buy a new one thats why i am willing to punch mine. also it wont rev above 3000 in drive and i am thinking the cat may be why any other ideas? let me know thanks
Thanks i have been told punching it will make my check engine light come on (i dont really care about that) but any way to avoid that?
Ok well what do you think the problem is? multiple mechanics have told me that a clogged cat is most likely the problem and there is no need for emissions test because it has historic tags haha.
