I have a 2001 5.3 V8 Chevy Silverado 4x4.

I have replaced the crankshaft sensor, and I am atleast getting a spark, but still will not start.

Could it be the camshaft sensor?

whats it doing ,and did you try spraying carb cleaner in the intake to see if it fires?

Security, passlock II problem?
The BCM could be getting a false resistance reading from the ignition switch, and thinks the truck is being stolen and then the BCM is shutting the fuel injectors off.

Try resetting and a relearn procedure for the Passlock II & BCM PCM ECM sytems:

Crank the engine, it won't start, leave key in the "ON" position for ten minutes (minimum) until the security light stops flashing.
Turn the key "OFF" then try and start the engine.
If it doesn't start repeat the procedure a 2nd time and then a 3rd time

After the lamp times out the third time VTD passwords are retransmitted and vehicle will start and run.
