Will A Mustang Out Run A Corvette??

i don't really know if a mustang will. the reason i picked this question is becuase i like those carz and i want to know.
1. no way
2. IDK
3. maybe
4. DEFFINETLY
5. 100% YES
will you pick a number who ever already put their answer
 
the only mustang that could MIGHT keep up would maybe be the shelby GT-500 but that still probably wouldn't win, just keep up with it the best, like one of the other guys said you could make a higher end mustang (like shelby GT-500, saleen and maybe a cobra to) keep up with a vette but it would take enough money to buy a vette or close enough, also if you want to talk about handling like on a track or curvy roads the vette will always be better
 
Assuming both are stock, the Vette will win.
 
I own a mustang my uncle owns a corvette. No chance in hell the stang outruns the vette.

OF course the stang is bout 15k cheaper.

You can make a mustang outrun the vette but off the show room floor it is no contest.
 
1. No way.

Even the 500HP Mustang GT500 Shelby is slower than the 400HP base Corvette.

Ford GT supercar competes with Chevy Corvette.

Chevy Camaro competes with Ford Mustang.

The Corvette is much quicker and faster because:
-Lighter weight
-Much better aerodynamics.

The performance of the Mustang and Corvette are not even close.
 
The race wouldn't even be close the Corvette will out power almost any Mustang you can find. The corvette though costs around $80,000, and the 'stang about 35 K.
