will a 454 with a manual trans of a 1979 Chevy C65 fit a nova?

heard the motor could but will the transfit as well?? any help would be appreciated please?? i got a deal with these motor of a c65 truck but im still learning more and more... please anyhelp would be appreciated

Nova's came with big blocks so the 454 will fit with proper motor mounts. The trans is another issue. You need to comapare the overall size of the BB trans with the existing trans....more than likely it will take some modification to make it fit. Sounds like QUITE a project!! Have fun!!!
