I noticed it seemed to miss a cylinder a while back, especially when it would rain. A couple months ago it rained almost two weeks straight. One morning on the way to work it seemed to miss very badly but still did fine. When I got off work I turned it on and it didn't want to start. Eventually it started but seemed like it was only running on 3 or 4 of the six cylinders. After gassing it a lot it got to where it would idle around 600rpms. I made it home like that and parked it. Waited for money for parts and changed the plugs and wires. it wouldn't start anymore. I then changed the distributor and button and the battery. No change other than a peppier starter. I then changed the ignition control module. Now it seems a little more inclined to think about starting but still doesn't. While changing the distributor and button I completely removed the who distributor assembly. I notice a notch on the bottom an seated it flushly down into the block. I assumed the notch made it impossible to improperly seat the distributor assembly.

Any ideas on things I can check or try would be greatly appreciated. Email me from my "Profile" page if you need any more information. Please help me.

are you getting fuel to the fuel rails? do you have spark? take one of the spark plug wires off and just lay it close to a ground and let somone turn it over. did you do any trouble shooting before you started yanking parts out and replacing them? verify spark and fuel. if you have both check the timing.
