why so few chevy novas?

I never really noticed how few there were around until i bought mine. Seams like i can go to a car event and not see any. I checked the production numbers and they made a lot, more than camaros and chevelles etc. Do you think a lot were scraped out or no one wants them or what. any comments or explanations are welcome

Same i just got mine in october and theres maybe one or two other novas at car shows with me.

I know many were used for circle track racing. I have a 62' 4dr now but I also had a 76' and a 78' that were both very strait bodied and complete 2drs and they both ended up as race cars and that was there end.
