Why does my 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche squeal when I turn?

When I turn my Avalanche squeals. It is loud enough you can hear it in or out of the truck. I have taken it to the dealership just for them to say it is my tires. I do not think that is the case. What gives?

Does it do it when you aren't moving and turn the wheel? If not it probably is the tires.

Could be low on power steering fluid.

Could be, if turning sharp, one tire squealing in that it doesn't rotate like it should and is skidding on the ground. My '98 Chevy Suburban has that problem - especially when parking in a parking lot.
