...transmission shift hard? I have a 2005 automatic chevy cobalt that I just put a cold air intake on it, after i put it on my transmission started slamming into gears. No check engine lights came on and i reinstalled the MAF into the aftermarket cold air intake. There are no air leaks in the intake so I don't know what it could be or why it started doing that from just adding an intake. I put the old intake back in and it started running just fine again. It doesn't make sense to me i only added a max of 15 hp and thats ideal not exact so its not a crazy amount that should effect the transmission shifting or at least it seems that way to me. Can anyone help me find an answer or let me know what it could be please.
