Who else thinks the Chevy Corvette ZR-1 is overhyped?

I think best car car out now would be the Hennessy Nissan GTR or the 2009 Dodge Viper ACR.

Well it is faster than the GTR.

Its pretty evenly matched with the ACR on a race track but way more livable in the street.

Not me.

The Viper ACR and Hennessey GTR is modified by tuner companies.
It is not factory made. They do not count as production cars.

The ZR1 is factory made. Made by Chevy.
And eventhough it is an amazingly stupid fast car, people still talk about the GTR as a faster car, when it is slower around the Nurburgring and in 1/4 mile time and in top speed.

So I think the ZR1 is the opposite of overhyped. People just do not believe that it is one of the fastest cars you can buy.
