Which is a better car? A Ford Mustang or a Chevy Corvette?

You have got to be kidding me. Unless you're talking a saleen stang, but still!

Better in what way? As far as better looking, I'd go for a Sting Ray.
 
You are comparing apples and oranges. The Mustang was never meant to compete with the Corvette. The Ford Mustang was the competition for the GM F body. (Camaro Firebird) Corvette is superior in every way, except for price tag of course.
