Whic car is better of the 2011 models, both fully loaded?

Which one has better gas mileage?

Which one is a better truck overall?

I need a new truck, and I am debating on which one to buy .

Thanks ! (:

go for the chevy ,,,chevy is the only american auto i trust ,,ford sucks ,,,

You won't get much help here. This forum is pretty nonsupportive. Check out Consumer Reports and some of the consumer sites. I wouldn't expect a Chevy site to say much good about Fords.

Ford is the only one that did not take bail out money from the Feds.

The difference between the two is that the Ford is heavier, and has more horse power, which will translate to less fuel mileage.

If Ford made a Expo in the 70s, I would have bought one. I got more inside room than a Ford truck of the same era, and parts are butt cheap.

BTW your metric new chevy isnt any better than anyone elses metic drive train.

That's a strange question to be asking on a Chevy forum. It's just gonna boil down to a matter of personal preference. I'm not too crazy about either one of them.

Depends on your perspective. I hated Expeditions 2 years ago, but enjoyed both marques. Wife was stuck on an Expy or an Excursion. Tried to flop her to a Tahoe/'Bourbon.. and she wanted no part of it.

Bought Monstro, the Expy... I fell in love, trans shat the bed, as expected, when expected, and I put a 6 speed ZF manual in it.

Buying an '05 Z71 tomorrow, Loaded... and she found 11tygajuillion things about it she liked less than her cloth XLT '98 Expy...

User Preference. Both good, both poor mpg (compared to a Cruze)..

Buy what makes you feel good.

And if you are buying new, call DaveSmith, and plug in Ext 1237....:D

I have owned a 2003 Suburban for almost 3 years now.
Doesn't use a drop of oil.
Not 1 single problem the past 2 1/2 years.
I have had 3 other Suburbans before this that were the same realibility.
Ford Expedition?
Chevy Suburban?

Get what YOU want

Owned a Ford once, only once. I have had 5 Suburbans and they have been very reliable. I have one suburban that we drove all over the US, finally called it quits at 397,000. Won't complain, it did it's job! We all have different preferences, best advice is go test them both, don't let the salesman sell you on either, let the vehicle and your needs be the judge of whats best for You...Happy Hunting!
