Car starts for about 2 seconds and no matter much you pump the gas won't stay running. HELP

The Last Guy Was Sort Of Correct. It's Not A Fuel Pump. Stop Doing What You Are Doing Before You Foul Out The Spark Plugs. You Have A Factory Anti Theft System Called Passkey. Your Car Does Not Use Special Keys Though, So Trying Another One Will Not Matter. The Passkey Module Is Built Into The Ignition Cylinder Housing (gm # 12458191). It Sends A Signal To Tell The Fuel Pump To Work. The Reason It Will Start Is Because The Computer Uses A 2 Second Bypass When You First Start It, Then If It Does Not See The Signal From The Passkey Module, It Shuts The Fuel Pump Off. Either The Passkey Module Or The Bcm (body Control Module) Has Failed. The Correct Way To Fix It Is To Take It To Someone Who Has A Tech 2. You Will Need That To Program The New Part When You Replace It Anyway. The Cheap Way To Fix It Is To Call A Local Stereo Shop And Ask Them For The Pass Key Bypass Module They Use When Installing Remote Start Systems.
