...i have a 2005 chevy malibu? I have a factory stereo,,, as you might of heard... the 2005 Chevy malibu cd player SUCKS!!!! mine doesnt even suck the cd in no more... So i was also wondering if i should just buy a stereo for it and have some install or just buy the thingy, so i can just play my ipod... please dont tell me about the fm transmitter thingy i bought one and it had so much static... a waste of money<<< prices will be helpful also.. thanks

You can either buy an aftermarket stereo head unit that allows for Ipod use, or you can install an FM Modulator to your factory stereo. An FM modulator plugs into the rear of your factory speaker, and has a 3.5mm headphone input jack that you can plug your Ipod into.
