What year/model Corvette Stingray has the highest fender flares?

I looooooooooooove old corvettes and my favorite part is the exaggerated fender flares. I know the Corvette Stingray was based off the Mako Shark II, but which year came closest to those enormous fender flares?

Also, this isn't as important... but I am interested in what years were actual "Stingrays" (had the split rear window).

Being a split window is not the same as being a Stingray. The split window was a '63 only item.
'63-mid / late 70's were called stingray's '63-67 had the biggest fender.
