About 2 weeks ago my friend hit my car against a concrete median on the highway probably going somewhere between 60-80. Apparently it sounded bad, but there aren't any marks or body damage. I didn't think anything was wrong until I noticed that my car and the steering wheel started shaking when I was going between 50-65 mph. I had my tires aligned and new front tires put on about 2 months ago. Also, the check engine light came on about a week ago with a code P0420 (excessive EGR), which shouldn't happen when my car only has 55,000 miles on it. I don't have the money now to take it to a shop and have them go over everything. What could cause either of these problems and does it have anything to do with getting jarred by hitting the median? Also, any idea on how much taking it in to see what the exact problem is would cost? Thanks for any help!
