Probably an older corvette.
I mean, are they desireable? Do corvette have better brakes? Dude who built my hotrod said it had Corvette brakes like it was a good thing.

Corvette has used 4 wheel disc brake systems since the late 60s. One thing that may make them different than other disc brake systems is that they have 4 pistons per caliper. This is more efficient than brakes with single or dual pistons. Theoretically, having more pistons gives more efficient braking, by spreading the load on the rotor, as the brake is applied. Does it make them any better? That is a matter of opinion.

depends on what generation vette the brakes came off of. the c5's for instance (97-04) had 2 pistons on the front and only one on the rear calipers.
