I have 1997 Chevy Suburban 350
- We were driving down the highway; went up a hill and the truck downshifted. Now the engine squeals and rattles; in most cases the squeal/rattle is detectable, other cases it severe (sometimes I think it's going to seize), and in other cases it doesn't do it at all.
- I've taken off the drive belt and I know it is nothing that is belt driven. I've canceled all the cylinders and the noise still continues. I've thought that maybe it is the flywheel, but I'm not sure if that is the case.
What's wrong with my suburban?
