In 2006 there are three engine choices starting with the base 2.2L DOHC I4 that makes 145 BHP, there is the optional 2.4L DOHC I4 that makes 171 BHP, and in 2006 the Cobalt SS came with a supercharger not a turbo the turbo SS did not come out till the 2009 model year, but the SS’s 2.0L DOHC supercharged I4 put out 205 BHP.
