what is the real hp of an 07 chevy malibu with a 4 cylinder 2.2 L engine?

and 0-100 in 6.4 seconds.

what is the real hp of the car.

i had a cobalt, i put in groceries and i had 5 people in the car. The cobalt had the same 2.2 engines and it went weak.

i bough the malibu and i tried the same thing with the load and 5 people in the car. But it had the same strong performance.

is it 144 hp or something more?

plz help

do the malibu and cobalt have a different transmission, and different engine?, if yes. which one is better?

You are correct, the malibu has 144hp, with 155ft lbs of torque. The colbalt has has 148 hp, but 152 ft lbs of torque. Then I haven't seen any performance info, like 0-60 and such on the cobalt...

The 07 malibu has 144HP and 155 Ft LB torque the curb weight is 3297 lbs. Both are front wheel drive cars. the Cobalt has 148hp and 152 ft lb torque a curb weight of 2991. not sure about the transmission in the malibu since its the old generation but the new ones have a auto 6 speed. so it could have that in it which would help.
