What is a good amplifier and subwoofer to put in a 2009 chevy cobalt?

I'm trying to buy my girlfriend a sub and amp for her birthday for her cobalt but I don't want to spend too much. I was thinking a 10inch sub with a 2-ohm amp. But I just need a few recommendations on what would be the best bang for my buck?
