I thought it meant cubic inches but I was told it is cubic centimeters. This couldn't be the total displacement for the whole engine b/c bike engines hit 1000cc which is only a one liter. So I was guessing it's the displacement for each individual cylinder. But this means only 3416cc which is about 3.5L . If 427 is inches cubed than this would translate into 6997cc which seems right. I know 7L is big but it is an old school muscle car V8.
