What can I expect to get for my 2004 Chevy Malibu Maxx LT from a Salvage Yard?

It was involved in a head on collision. I'm not sure it still starts but it was declared totaled by the insurance company. I'm going to get a new car, just want to get a fair price for my old car.
Also, Would it be better to take it to a dealership and try to Sell it, Sell it as scrap metal or donate it for taxes?? And, I live in GA.
