What are the different types of Chevrolet Silverado trucks?

i'm looking to get a used one as my first car, i just want a standard one with a regular back seat and regular everything. is that a 1500? what would it be called?

The truck with a back seat but not four doors is called an extended cab. It is available in 1500, 2500 and 3500.

best thing i can tell you is get a standerd cab with the 5.7 (350 ) in it

or go get a chevy k5 blazer with the 6.2 ( 379 ) diesel
