the ultimate performance part is the motor itself.
replaced or fully rebuilt for high performance. heads, cam, pistons and crank, intake and exhuast, all high performance and you'll put out as much power as possible.
if you wanted to, you could also do a turbocharged, supercharged, or NOS buildup and get even more power while still being reliable.
but once you have a true high performance motor, you need a tranny capable of handling it. and a driveshaft, rear axle and gear ratio, and of course tires and suspension.
for cheap and quick bolt ons, exhuast, power programmer (to adjust the computer in order to get more power outo of what it currently has), pulley set, those are easy and quick ways to get a bit more power.
cam is a bit more work, but it is a great way to get more power
i'd talk with the folks at crane cam and they can match you up with the best cam for the application. however, if you plan on adding other things, do those and then talk to crane and get the cam.
best cam will be different if you change other parts.
