Im new to this forum so i havent updated everything yet, but i have a 2004 chevy 1500 extended cab 4x4 lifte with a 6" fabtech and 35's. I am having a problem with my 35's scrubbing and my torision bars are cranked all the way up. I have had many lifted trucks and i know with a 6" lift i should be clearing 35's and with the torsion bars cranked all the way up i should def be clearing them. So my question is could the torsion bars be going bad or did they not install somwthing right on the lift? pls help i hate scrubbing!!!!

Did you recheck the Fabtech web site to insure you purchased the correct kit? Did you try contacting them?

well i bought the truck lifted like it is. so idk if they ordered the right lift and yes i called fabtech and he said i was sitting the correct height and i said but my torsion bars are cranked all the way up and he was like oh no something is wrong definitely and he also mentioned the torsion bars going bad

well the bars are 8 years old and you have no way of knowing if the previous owner overloaded the vehicle weakening the bars.

fabtech 6"

ok so i got the scrubbing problem fixed. i took the two inch wheel spacers off the front that the Dumba** before me put on and everything is good now. The only thing is i lowered my torsion bars about 1/2 inch and my driver side torsion bolt is lower than my passenger but when i measure them they are even. Any reason why the bolts would be uneven but the ride height is even???

If the bolts were set for maximum and the prior owner overloaded the vehicle there maybe a difference in the two bars tension.
