Hey everyone hows it going? I am new to the forum and just bought a 78 Nova. A little about myself... I'm 23 in the military and currently Deployed. I have 5 cars as of now. They are in order from newest to oldest 2006 Acura RSX Type-S, 2005 Mazda 6i, 2000 Ford F-150 XLT, 1992 Toyota Celica GT, and a 1978 Chevy Nova. I was hoping a few of you could help me out with some advice and guidance on building my Nova. I'm trying to learn how to build muscle cars now. I've had my fun with the tuner cars now im ready for the real thing!
Now down to buisness! I was just doing some random searching and for some reason the thought to drop a V10 into my Nova came across my mind. It currently has a 267 V8 i have a 350sbc that i did plan to build at first. What do you all think? I am aware there would be a bit of frame work and custom mods that would need to be done But, what do you all think? My goal is not to make the most power or be the best show car nor is it to save money. This will be a long term project that i want to do in a way that i think would set me apart from most/all others.
Or should i just stick to the V8.... if so Big Block or Small Block? So, if you think this is plausable or would even fit or have heard of someone who has done this before please let me know and feel free to add your .02 cents
Thanks- Clinton
