knocking and stalling? I used to use 94 Octane gas in my car in Canada. Now we are both in the UK and use Premium UK gas, but I don't think my car likes it. I am worried about continuing to use Premium Gas. My questions are: (1) what octane level does UK unleaded petrol have, if it is 92+, I will switch to unleaded, (2) what octane level does UK premium petrol have and will it damage my engine if I continue to use it in an American car. The Corvette is a 94, very low mileage, less than 23,000 miles.
I rarely drive the car, not a lot of petrol consumption going on for those concerned about gas guzzling. Plus, the car is actually very economical on petrol.

Plus, the car is actually very economical on petrol, hard to believe, but this is a relative point, for me, I think the car is very economical to run, I live in a tiny village... I am currently running Premium Petrol. I've done a lot of research and believe Premium petrol is contributing to the issue. I am switching to Unleaded.
