I am looking to buy a 1994 K1500 Suburban tomorrow with 195K on it.
It looks clean for its age and runs great, no leakage or oil smoke, the guy wants 3500.00 for it.
what kind of problems can i expect...... thank you in advance for your answers.

That seems steep for the age and mileage. According to KBB, in excellent condition it's only worth $2500
I bought my '93 for $1800. I would have the transmission checked out carefully. I was told the average life expectancy is about 150K. I have 175K and I'm starting to have issues.

I bought mine with about 175k as a 95 4x4 k1500 two years ago for $1700 - since then replaced water pump, rear axle drive shaft seal and A/c compressor and dryer, plus front discs (due to slight vibration on the brakes) and (because I wanted a nicer sound) a gibson exhaust and high flow cat. No problems with transmission at all. $3500 sounds too much!

Got my '93 when it hade 102K miles and was only a couple of years old. I now have 238K on it and beyond the normal wear parts like brakes and tires, I have changed the alternator, water pump A/C compressor and heater blower motor with a rebuilt tranny at 190K. Except for the tranny I consider the other stuff pretty normal for a truck with that much mileage. I wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again.
