My 1999 Suburban has a misfire... it is leaking water through the exhaust pipe and white smoke comes out, and the radiator either leaks or just drinks the water in it ( I was told that it was something with the manifold intake or something or other). We have changed the spark plugs, changed the distributor cap and rotor.. I don't know what could be causing my "check engine" light to come on... I would appreciate any input. Thanks!
But if it would be the head gasket then there would be water in the motor right?

busted head gasket is causing smoke, misfire etc and as far as your check engine light get a code reader or go down to pep boys and they will scan it for free at no charge good luck

that misfire is related to all the other stuff, you have a cracked head, or possibly a head gasket problem, the coolant is going out the exhaust piple (water, and steam = head gasket problem, or a intake manifold leak, take it in, and get it fixed, it has not done much damage, but keep driving it, and it will get a lot worse, best of luck.

sounds like a bad head gasket, or a cracked block. something that is going to suck if you are blowing water out the tailpipe.
