My clutch still has pressure I can still shift into every gear when I let out the clutch it just makes A clunking noise anyone know if it's just the clutch it's in a 98 z24 5spd manual
 
how do you know the shift cable hasnt broken?
With the engine off and an assistant, did you watch the shifter assembly on the transmission case move as the shifter is placed into different gears/
 
everything moves like it should still dont kno what to do
 
if the engine is running, and you are sure the transmission is shifting into all the gears, and the car doesnt move, it's either the clutch or the transmission and in both cases the transmission has to come out
 
It is the transmission any ideas where to find one for mine it's the isuzu 5 sod manual I've been looking everywhere with no luck other than a remanufactured one at 1200$
