Does anyone have any information on TCM part#24256861, I can't seem to find one or get it repaired. It seems there is a national shortage and not sure if they are making them or not just trying to get some info on what I can do. Any help would be appreciated.

Not clear why you can't find it or get it repaired. Even Autozone lists it as available along with any GM dealer. Has a dealer given you the status of availability? Why cannt any of the businesses that repair TCM's repair yours?

So they say they have it but its actually on backorder and the websites don't say that, but I have called almost all parts stores and it's the same story don't have and on back order

I have found some used ones at salvage yards but they want 2200$ or more with no warranty

I can't find a place that will repair it, most places will do several modules but not this one not sure why

I tried Google, TCM Repair, and get multiple places but you would have to determine if they will repair yours.

Yeah I have to and called almost everyone and for some reason they just don't repair these modules.

xemodex is a repair facility that claims to work on these i have used them for other modules before with good results
