To All you Corvette Lovers: How expensive is it to paint it?

I had an accident with a 'vette. 2001 metallic red. The damage can't even be seen unless you look at it from one side with the light coming from the other side. Can't be photographed even from close-up. The damage is a spider-web like set of cracks. No damage to the car itself, just the paint is cracked. about 5 inches wide. How much to fix???
The damage is on the passenger side front fender.
It will be fixed in the Chicago area.

Is it on the door, fender or 1/4 panel?

To do it right the shop would have to blend the adjacent panels, especially with that color.

As far as a ballpark, 800-1000 but it'll depend where the damage is on the vehicle and what area of the country you live in(labor rates vary greatly around the country).

You will have to repaint the side of the car, for it to match.
If there is no cracking of the actual body panels or anything, your probably still looking at about 500-1000$ to get it done well.
