Hi everybody!
Like the post says, time for a newer suburban.(maybe). I am looking at a 2013 LTZ 1500 4x4 or a 2015 LT 1500 2wd.
Looking up reviews for both of them, pretty much about the same. I can go either way with the 4x4. Ive had it before, never used it. My old 2003 burb does not have 4wd, never been a problem
My concern is some issues I read about the AFM(?) The system that turns off a cylinder when power not needed. I've read some horror stories about this and was wondering if anybody here has any experience or issues with this. Any input greatly appreciated. Thanks
EDIT* Wanted to ask also if the general maint on these models is fairly the same as in my '03. I do as much work on my vehicles as I can. Oil changes, brakes etc. Or has the technology gotten so much that us DIY'ers are being put phased out.
