I was at my high school's homecoming parade this past weekend and i saw a convertible corvette. It appeared to be built on the same frame and body as the new 2009 models, same wheels and shape/size, etc. BUT the rear end looked like it came straight out of 1959. the bumper looked like a modern verison of the 1959 corvette bumper as it sloped down but had the pillar like wings similar to a 1959 cadillac eldorado.

WHAT IS THIS?!? like a custom body kit, or do they make some completely unique package? i have never seen anything like this before and i wish i had taken a picture.

Here is a link to Karl's Chevrolet in Ankeny, Ia. They have a Custom Corvette shop that builds these type of cars.
The video shows a current C6 Vette, ZO6 with a 67 Vette front and rear clip.
Looks old but in reality is a brand new Vette under the skin.
Cost, about $125-150K, depending on the options.
