throtle prblem

I backed into another car very lightly.then driving down the road I let off gas and car slowed down to fast.nomaly when I let off gas it just sort of glides smoothly.is it transmission or throttle problem.

any check engine light on?
the engine and transmission are in the front of the car so cannt see how they were effected by a "light" impact.
depending on how "light" the impact was I'm wondering if you did something that is causing the rear brakes to lock partially.
You definitely arent driving with the parking brake engaged?
