...08 Chevy Cobalt, is this bad? I had saw a thread talking about a 99 volkswagen and they guy that responded said since its an older car it was probably this reason, but my car is barely 2 years old. Do i need to get this looked at? the air conditioner still puts out super cold air, just has the water gathering around the outside circle of my air vents

No worries this moisture is simply condensation that occurs when cold air contacts a warm surface. It is similar to the moisture that falls off of your air conditioning compressor when you shut your car off. If you have a similar moisture problem or smell engine coolant when you run your heater make sure you get it checked for leaks then.
