Sway bar mount bolts stripped out

2012 Chevy Malibu LT. The bolts on my sway bar mount have stripped out of the hole not sure what to do how to fix it there's not a whole lot of room in there to do anything. I have thought about drilling out bigger and re-threading. Someone suggested welding a plate on and drilling into it. Any and all suggestions welcome
