Hi,
I changed the radiator hose on my 1993 chevy suburban (2500).
at the hose connection of the radiator hose there is a little protrusion (see picture). What I would like to know is if I need to get the hose over it and the clamp underneath it to it doesn't move up ? or is it correct the way it is on the picture ? Can it slip of ?

Thank you

JP

Looks good to me , only needs to hold 15 psi . They say the spring or strap clamps have a better seal than worm screw hose clamps . I think you are fine .

that protrusion is a stop to prevent you from pushing the hose too far onto the elbow. You have correctly installed the hose.
