Steering accessory wont work and when i go back the radio said i got camera.

all the buttons on the steering wheel no longer work and when I back up there is a message on the radio saying that the camera is closed (I don't have a camera) I changed the buttons and I still have the same problem

Could be a body control module issue but you need a scan tool capable of running diagnostics.

Hey everyone,
I recently installed a steering wheel accessory, but it’s not working as expected. On top of that, when I go back, my radio displays a camera message, even though I haven’t installed a backup camera.
Has anyone experienced this issue before? Could it be a wiring problem, a setting in the head unit, or something else? Any troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated.
