2000 Silverado 1500 5.3 eng AT 2wd
I recently acquired this truck and have experienced a little difficulty in starting at times. It will start quickly after sitting for a long period of time or overnight. It runs smoothly around town and during idle when at an extended stop. However, after turning it off and letting it sit for a short period of time, it will take two or three attempts before it'll catch and even then it's slow to get up to idle rpm. Once started, it runs smooth like before. Has anyone found the source of this problem that has experienced the same, or any suggestions on what to troubleshoot? I have check the OBD and no codes were displayed. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
