Should I get my son a corvette z06?

I am thinking of buying him a corvette z06. I want to make him learn to earn it so I am making him pay $5000 dollars of it. He is 16
it has the full package and is aroun 80k
Am I making him pay too much?

No. Not unless you want him dead. If so shoot for something faster and cheaper. Maybe a Hayabusa motorcycle
I'm 17, I've driven a new z06 'vette, its nuts. I would have wrecked it by now and probably be dead. And I'm a pretty good driver.
No, your not making him pay to much, hell you can make him buy his own first car, he'll respect it more. But chances are he'll wreck it no matter what he says and does.
Most teenagers do, why do you think insurance is so high? And he'll probably let his friends drive it and talk him into doing stupid things.

Accidents = lawsuits, pain, suffering, and death.
Which means...
Teenager = accident = bad.

Yes, there are kids out there that could, is your son one of them? Probably not.
