should i buy an Audi A6 or a Corvette?

so its between an audi A6 2.7 v6 biturbo or a Chevy Corvette 5.7L v8
I have 8,000 dollars and i can get a decent 2001 audi and an ok 1990-95 corvette with the same money. I just dont know which one to get. I want a fast car thats why i chose these two. Help?
