Should I buy a Corvette ZO6, Corvette C6, or Camaro SS?

I want to buy a really fast car. I test drove the Camaro SS today and was not impressed very much. Whichever car I buy, I would like to supercharge it eventually. I read that the ZR1 used the LS3 engine instead of the LS7 engine because of the pressure is too much for the piston walls. The 2011 Camaro has 427 hp which is about the same as the 2008 Corvette C6 only much less expensive. So is it not a good idea to supercharge the Corvette Z06? Should I buy the 2011 Camaro or the 2008 Corvette with the LS3 engine and supercharge whichever one I choose?
I have nothing against imports (I own one now) but I really want some American muscle.
I would like a newer car but thanks. I would consider a mustang but everyone has a mustang. I would rather have the vette or Camaro.

hmmm you did not say what did not impress you with the camaro (and did you ever hear about that amg mercedes? small block turbocharged v8 (already done) snaps your head back at 85 mph two seater, go find one of those, I think that would be the fun park e ticket ride to have.

screw american cars man....
get a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 2010/11, HOT CAR FAST AS HELL, and handles better then any corvette or camaro out there. this car has freakin torque. its also cheaper and looks nicer then them

If he bought an EVO then he'd be no better buying an American muscle. Buy an STi. Reliable and quick. Me? I'd like to drive my car more than I wanna fix it. Depending on where you live. GTR may be an option for you. If you're gonna supercharge it anyways and you won't let the American muscle idea go? I'd say gto, new cobra, or just a mustang GT. The 31 mpg on those are reallu tempting.

Ummm, i have a '68 Camaro with a "406" cubic inch motor and 4 speed Muncie that has a nice interior and is virtually rust free but needs paint for $11,500. It's a "street machine". You can add a super charger down the road if you like. No matter what car you buy, there is no replacement for displacement. No computer or sensor BS here...no a/c either, just a '68 Camaro with new tires that runs well. Are you looking for a hot car???

dont listen to eric.. my opinion is the ZO6. doesnt need to be supercharge, its cheaper to put work on it than asian or european cars since its american. ZO6 is strong and its a BEAST. some upgrades here and there wouldnt hurt.

I'm answering without reading the other posts. I have no faith in GM, neither does most of America. That's why they went bust. They will probably go bankrupt again.
