I am wondering what you guys think about using seafoam in the engine, gas tank and in the crank (oil).
I've heard it works wonders but never tried it.

It all depends on what you're using it for. It works pretty good to free up sticky rings, valves and lifters. If you're expecting it to increase your mileage or give you some kind of boost in hp, don't waste your money.

That's what I was after. I'm sure the insides could use a good cleaning
Thanks

I've used it in little old lady cars that get carboned up. Gets rid of the pinging with one treatment. I have only used it through the vacuum booster per the directions. Be careful, you can do more harm than good.

I use it in my 197k miles 02. Smoothes the engine gives a little better acceleration. No improvement on fuel economy.

Yeah, I told you it wouldn't help your mileage.
