...battery light is still on. Help PLZ!? I have a 1995 chevy silverado 1500 Z71 and i used to have a big stereo system in it. I took it out about a year ago and now have replaced the alternator three times in two years and recently (a week ago) replaced a three year old battery with a brand new battery. Why is my check battery light still on? I think that a wire might be shorting out on metal somewhere but im not a mechanic so its just a guess. I also think the stereo system i used to have in there could be associated with this electrical problem. If anyone can shed any light on my situation, it would be great! Thanks for any replies!
