I have an 05 Suburban with the overhead HVAC console. I was wondering what was involved in switching the lower rear radio control panel to the one that does the radio and HVAC. This way I can use the overhead space for the new DVD player. Would there be wires overhead for the rear entertainment already? Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? Thanks

this video shows how to remove the combo HVAC/Radio panel and clearly shows the electrical connector. Remove your existing panel and see if the plug and wire setup looks the same.
