Question: I'm not a big fan of my 3 speed trans

I have a 1974 Chevy Nova,
I installed the 3 speed power glide. I'm not real happy this the the 3 speed. Suggestions?
 
The power glide is a 2 speed transmission.
So what transmission did you install and exactly what is the problem?
